Vishay spans both halves of the problem. Its protection and small-signal lines — TVS, ESD, rectifiers, Schottky, zener, bipolar transistors — are industry-standard series, so the AMSEMI counterpart carries the same series name and the same package. Its MOSFET lines are switching devices, so those go to Magnachip or CR Micro and get checked on your operating conditions.
| What you are replacing | What we offer |
|---|---|
| TVS (SMAJ, SMBJ, SMCJ, SMDJ, 5.0SMDJ, SMF, P4KE, P6KE, 1.5KE) | AMSEMI, same package |
| ESD protection | AMSEMI, same package |
| Rectifiers, Schottky, fast / ultra-fast recovery | AMSEMI, same package |
| Zener diodes | AMSEMI, same package |
| Bipolar transistors | AMSEMI, same package |
| MOSFET | Magnachip or CR Micro — quoted, not tabulated |
| Foil resistors, tantalum capacitors, optocouplers | Not our line |
These series names are industry-standard — onsemi, Littelfuse, Vishay, NXP and AMSEMI all build SMAJ in SMA and SMBJ in SMB. Same name means same pad. Peak power and stand-off range are AMSEMI figures from AMSEMI datasheets.

A MOSFET, IGBT or SiC position is not a table lookup. These are switching devices: the replacement has to hold up on your gate drive, your switching frequency and your thermal path. So we do not publish a parameter-level cross-reference here — you get a candidate and a list of the differences.

Same package (SMB), different series intent — TPSMB is a Vishay automotive series. The pad is the same; the grade is not. AMSEMI parts from our stock are industrial grade, and automotive versions are built to order with the -H suffix, typically 8–10 weeks.
We quote Magnachip or CR Micro. We will not hand you a table claiming electrical equivalence, because RDS(on), gate charge and body-diode recovery all move together and have to be checked on your board.
No. The AMSEMI factory holds AEC-Q101 qualification; the parts we stock are industrial grade. Automotive parts are ordered with the -H suffix and built to order. We never describe a stocked part as automotive grade.
Yes, in SMA and SMB (SMA-series and SMB-series zeners), plus SOD-123FL and SOD-323 small-signal types. Voltage coverage runs the standard E24 range; send the number and we confirm the exact band.
Sometimes, by parameter rather than by name — VRRM, IO, VF, package. Those we quote after checking, and we do not claim a drop-in unless the package and the ratings both line up.
Yes. Send the part number and we confirm supply, price and lead time.
Upload your BOM or type the number — we reply within one business day with the equivalent, the price, the package and the lead time. If we cannot supply it, or the package does not match, we say so.
