Infineon is overwhelmingly a power switching supplier, so an Infineon alternative is almost always a MOSFET, IGBT or SiC question. We answer those with Magnachip and CR Micro — a power device for a power device, in the same package class, never a small-signal part pressed into duty it cannot take. Infineon's ESD protection parts are a different case: those are industry-standard packages, so AMSEMI drops in on the same pad.
| What you are replacing | What we offer |
|---|---|
| Low-voltage MOSFET (OptiMOS, HEXFET-class, 30–200 V) | Magnachip / CR Micro trench MOSFET |
| High-voltage MOSFET (CoolMOS-class, 500–950 V) | Magnachip super-junction, 600–700 V |
| Discrete IGBT (600 V, 650 V, 1200 V) | CR Micro IGBT, TO-247 / TO-263 |
| SiC diode / SiC MOSFET | Quote only — send the part number |
| IGBT modules, IPM, driver ICs | Not our line — we say so rather than substitute |
| ESD protection | AMSEMI, same package |
These series names are industry-standard — onsemi, Littelfuse, Vishay, NXP and AMSEMI all build SMAJ in SMA and SMBJ in SMB. Same name means same pad. Peak power and stand-off range are AMSEMI figures from AMSEMI datasheets.

A MOSFET, IGBT or SiC position is not a table lookup. These are switching devices: the replacement has to hold up on your gate drive, your switching frequency and your thermal path. So we do not publish a parameter-level cross-reference here — you get a candidate and a list of the differences.
| Part | Brand | Class | Package |
|---|---|---|---|
| CRG50T60AK3HD | CR Micro | IGBT 600 V | TO-247 |

| CRTS029N06N | CR Micro | MOSFET 60 V | TO-263 (D2PAK) |

No, and you should be suspicious of anyone who does. A trench MOSFET swap changes RDS(on), gate charge, output capacitance and the body-diode recovery — all of which show up in your efficiency and your EMI. We quote a candidate and mark the differences; you validate on your board.
A working set, yes: CR Micro 60 V and 100 V MOSFETs in TO-263 and TO-247, and a 700 V Magnachip super-junction part in SOT-223. Everything else is quoted, typically 8–10 weeks.
The Infineon part number, your VDS / ID margin, RDS(on) or VCE(sat) limit, gate drive voltage, switching frequency, the thermal path, and whether the position sees avalanche or repetitive clamping. With those we can say yes or no in one round instead of three.
Yes — that is the rule. A TO-247 quote is a TO-247 part. If we only hold the right die in a different package, we tell you the package differs instead of shipping it and letting your assembly line find out.
No. We supply discrete IGBTs, not modules, and we do not substitute a discrete for a module. Saying so costs us one order and saves you a redesign.
Yes. Send the part number and we confirm whether we can supply it, at what price and how fast.
Upload your BOM or type the number — we reply within one business day with the equivalent, the price, the package and the lead time. If we cannot supply it, or the package does not match, we say so.
