An onsemi alternative request is really two questions, because onsemi sells two kinds of part. The protection and small-signal lines — TVS, ESD, rectifiers, Schottky, zener and bipolar transistors — are industry-standard series, so we replace them with the AMSEMI part of the same series and same package. The MOSFET, IGBT and SiC lines are switching devices, so we route those to Magnachip or CR Micro and check them on your operating conditions rather than on a table.
| What you are replacing | What we offer |
|---|---|
| TVS diodes (SMAJ, SMBJ, SMCJ, SMDJ, 5.0SMDJ, SMF, P4KE, P6KE, 1.5KE) | AMSEMI, same series and same package |
| ESD protection (ESD / GESD arrays, SOD-323, SOT-23, DFN) | AMSEMI, same package |
| Rectifiers, Schottky, fast / ultra-fast recovery | AMSEMI, same package |
| Zener diodes | AMSEMI, same package |
| Bipolar transistors (SOT-23, SOT-323, SOT-363) | AMSEMI, same package |
| MOSFET, IGBT, SiC discretes | Magnachip or CR Micro — quoted, not tabulated |
These series names are industry-standard — onsemi, Littelfuse, Vishay, NXP and AMSEMI all build SMAJ in SMA and SMBJ in SMB. Same name means same pad. Peak power and stand-off range are AMSEMI figures from AMSEMI datasheets.

A MOSFET, IGBT or SiC position is not a table lookup. These are switching devices: the replacement has to hold up on your gate drive, your switching frequency and your thermal path. So we do not publish a parameter-level cross-reference here — you get a candidate and a list of the differences.

Yes — with an AMSEMI SMBJ33CA. The series name is the industry-standard one, so the package is SMB on both sides and the pad does not move. What we will not do is offer you a 5.0SMDJ part (SMC, a much larger pad) and call it a drop-in.
The series cover 5–440 V stand-off across 84–112 bands per series, so most onsemi numbers have a direct counterpart. Where we do not hold stock, it is a factory order — typically 8–10 weeks, confirmed per series and quantity.
We quote Magnachip or CR Micro for those, and we do not publish a parameter table for the swap. A switching device has to be checked on your gate drive, switching frequency, thermal path and avalanche requirement. Send the onsemi part number with those conditions and our FAE answers with a candidate and the differences spelled out.
Both. Protection series are stocked in Shenzhen in the bands listed on the catalogue page and ship in 1–3 days. Non-stocked voltages, automotive grades and power devices are made to order, typically 8–10 weeks.
No. Our tables carry AMSEMI figures from AMSEMI datasheets. If you need a like-for-like clamp comparison, send the onsemi part number and we put both datasheets side by side.
Yes. The catalogue is not the limit of what we can supply. Send any part number — including the onsemi number you are trying to replace — and we confirm supply, price and lead time.
Upload your BOM or type the number — we reply within one business day with the equivalent, the price, the package and the lead time. If we cannot supply it, or the package does not match, we say so.
